Gift & Estate Planning
The purpose of the Gift & Estate Planning Office of the Mays Cancer Center is to help individuals find the best way to give. We will help find the giving method that provides the greatest benefit to both the Cancer Center and those interested in including the Cancer Center in their estate plans.
"Planned" or "deferred" gifts can help insure that we eventually find a cure for cancer. There are many ways to give through a planned gift, such as:
- Bequests
- Charitable Gift Annuities
- Appreciated Securities
- Life Insurance Gifts
- Gifts from Retirements Plans
- Charitable Remainder Unitrusts
- Charitable Remainder Annuity Trusts
- Charitable Lead Trust
- Bargain Sales
- Remainder Interests in Property
To view more information about each of these gift arrangements, please visit our planned giving web page, or contact us at (210) 567-9219.
Legacy Society
The Legacy Society is composed of a group of exceptional people who believe in the mission of the Cancer Center and want to ensure that cancer patients continue to benefit from its extraordinary research, education and treatment programs.
Those farsighted donors who through their compassion and hope provide a planned or deferred gift to the Cancer Center qualify for membership in the Cancer Center Legacy Society. Enrollment is simply a matter of advising us of the creation of a legacy gift by contacting us at (210) 567-9219.
