Physician Assistant Studies Program at The University of Texas Education and Research Center at Laredo
UT Health San Antonio has launched an exciting new initiative in health care education to directly benefit Laredo and the surrounding areas. The Physician Assistant (PA) Studies Program at The University of Texas Education and Research Center at Laredo will serve as a network of support for families and patients, creating a long-term community of care and commitment to the region. Many of our students have a keen interest to work in medically underserved areas and with at-risk populations in Texas. Our graduates will play an essential role in providing the absolute best in care, close to home.
From the classroom to the community, PA students are working with excellence and distinction to enact positive change. This work would not be possible without our generous donors connecting through their shared passion and choosing to make a difference in the lives of UT Health students. Together, we are working to make lives better.
We hope you will consider a gift to the Laredo Campus Fund in support of these critical needs:
- Student Scholarships and Stipends – direct support for clinical and educational expenses
- Alumni & Community Mentorships – connectivity and collaboration with local stakeholders
- Sim Lab Equipment – ranging from suture kits to an ultrasound machine
- Personal Protective Equipment – masks, gowns, faceguards, and gloves for our students
As a donor to the Laredo PA Studies Program, you’ll be making an immediate and lasting impact on our inaugural class of students and building the allied health professions capacity for care in this critical area.
