Dr. Leonard G. Paul served as Professor and Chairman of Family and Community Medicine from 1982-1994. Afterward he held the stature of Professor and Chairman Emeritus for almost 10 years. He served as a consultant and sat on numerous committees and organizations at the state and local level. He gave tirelessly of himself among his patients, students, and colleagues as a caring, giving, and concerned physician. Dr. Paul touched the lives of many. He was beloved by his patients, was considered to be the consummate role model by his students and residents, and was respected by his colleagues as a professional who sought to distinguish a specialty that required a broad knowledge of many diseases and conditions over the full spectrum of ages.
The Dr. Leonard G. Paul Professorship Endowment Fund was established in 2003 to honor his legacy as a Family Physician, Professor and Chairman, colleague, mentor, family member, and friend.
Please join us today in honoring Dr. Paul through a gift to his namesake endowment. We thank you in advance for your gift or pledge to help this fund grow and keep his memory close to our hearts.
