Rehabilitation Medicine

The UT Health San Antonio Department of Rehabilitation Medicine consists of experienced and talented faculty members with expertise in spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, pain management, sports medicine, prosthetics and orthotics, electrodiagnostic medicine, pediatric rehabilitation, and general rehabilitation. The faculty teach and practice in a multidisciplinary approach involving nurses, therapists, technicians, and family members. These coordinated efforts with patients and their families maximize their functional independence.
