Cardiothoracic Surgery

The Cardiothoracic Surgery Department is comprised of a compassionate and experienced professional team of doctors, nurses and clinical support staff, providing patients with state-of-the-art, cost-effective, quality cardiothoracic surgery services. The surgeons in the Cardiothoracic Surgery Department are on faculty at the UT Health San Antonio, and have produced the best outcomes in the state of Texas for the past several years. In particular, the care of newborn infants with cardiac abnormalities and single ventricle physiology continues to be a source of strength and excellence.
