Maura Bastos Bevans Memorial

Maura Bastos Bevans, Maurinha, as she was fondly called by many in her family, was a beautiful and loving mother to her three sons and will be remembered for her boundless love and caring of others. This memorial is established by Maura’s life partner of 14 years, Michael Lawrence, to honor her life as a mother, grandmother, wife, and friend to all who knew her. She will be dearly missed.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider making a gift to the Glenn Biggs Institute for Alzheimer’s & Neurodegenerative Diseases. Donations made in memory of Maura will support the advancement of research and discoveries in the prevention and treatment of Alzheimer’s disease. Maura’s family will automatically be notified of your gift.
