Norma L. Gonzalez was born December 3, 1958 in Brownsville, Texas and peacefully passed away while sleeping on June 8, 2016 at the age of 57. She served at AT&T for 30 years with fierce loyalty, tremendous energy, and an incomparable work ethic, whether it was as pitcher for the company softball team at Nationals or receiving accolades for the Diversity program she implemented, she gave her all to the company and retired in 2012. Norma leaves behind a small, but united and loving family, and countless friends who never ceased to offer their caring assistance and perpetual love. Her physicians, Dr. Steven Rosenblatt and Dr. Ruth Berggren, provided an exceptional level of care and graciously offered her their service and friendship.
Norma’s family asks that you make a donation to the Charles E. Cheever, Jr. Center for Medical Humanities & Ethics at the UT Health San Antonio.
