Dr. Arar’s expertise was in clinically applied medical anthropology, ethical issues in biomedical research, genetic family studies, health service research and development, preventive medicine, qualitative analysis and translational research.

Dr. Arar’s exceptional passion for research and education is reflected in the undergraduate, graduate and post-doctoral fellows she mentored.
