Amy Shelton and V.H. McNutt Professorship in Nursing in honor of the Nurses of the Armed Forces

Established in 2004, funds distributed from this endowment are used to support this Professorship in its quest for excellence in education at both the undergraduate and graduate level.  The Professorship honors Amy Shelton and V.H. McNutt for their entrepreneurial excellence and leadership in education and the sciences.  The recipient will be either a nurse who has served in the military and, therefore, knows the health related and nursing relevant issues for military concern, or a nurse who researches issues of interest to the Department of Defense.
