Family & Community Medicine

The Department of Family and Community Medicine at UT Health San Antonio is providing a healthier future for families and communities in San Antonio, South Texas and beyond through excellence in patient-centered care, research, and education. We are a primary care specialty that provides relationship-centered care to patients of all ages and are a first contact for ongoing and preventative care. Our physician-researchers are conducting national and regional clinical trials to improve the health of our patients and our community through innovative, high-quality and evaluative research.
