• Built a national network of 400,000+ supporters of healthy change and a digital communication to fuel action for healthy change.
• Created heartwarming stories and videos of people who have made healthy changes, like Jenny Arredondo who is feeding hungry kids through innovative School Food Pantries in San Antonio, and Minerva Perez who is busting fear and developing mental health services for New York immigrants.
• Created “action packs” that have helped hundreds of schools add food pantries, water bottle fountains for clean water access, and support systems for students who have gone through issues at home.
• Enabled people to speak up on issues like nutrition guidelines, menu labeling, physical activity, and other important issues.
• Trained advocates and students in working toward health for Latinos and all people.
