Phillip D. Asper Radiation Oncology Patient Assistance Fund
November 18, 1948 – May 29, 2020
Phillip D. Asper was a man with many talents. He loved nature, hunting, fishing, and golfing. Phil used his trail cameras to capture daily pictures of his deer and hogs and shared them with family and friends. He loved sharing.
He was known for his giving heart. He passionately supported the U.S. Military, law enforcement, children’s organizations, and anything else that his family or friends needed.
Phil left this world as a survivor of many traumatic events that would have taken other lives much sooner. He was not willing to leave this world until his family was well taken care of.
Per his wishes, his body was donated to Sam Houston State University Forensic Science Educational Research Department for study.
Phil is survived by his wife Marjorie, two sons and their families: Jason, Stacy, Alyssa and Hannah Asper, and Joshua, Jeri, Taylor and Brooklyn Asper, as well as his brother Roger Asper.
