Graduate Medical Education

With approximately 950 residents and fellows representing over 85 specialties, the Office of Graduate Medical Education is steadfastly committed to training the next generation of outstanding physicians. Our Office’s major initiatives center around work-life/well-being, educational innovation, health systems science, and professional development. Our major clinical training partners are University Health System, South Texas Veteran’s Health Care System (Audie L. Murphy VA Hospital), Brooke Army Medical Center, and the UT Health San Antonio Mays Cancer Center.
