Lori Wright passed away on March 15, 2020, after a courageous battle with cancer. Lori, who was beloved by all who knew her, was a devoted wife and friend and a dedicated community leader who worked tirelessly to support many worthy causes in San Antonio. Lori served on numerous volunteer boards in our community where her important contributions will continue to have a significant impact for years to come - including her service on the Development Board at UT Health San Antonio, Board of Governors at the Mays Cancer Center (where she served as Board Chair in 2017 and 2018), SA Cancer Council Board of Trustees (where she served as President in 2005 and 2006), South Texas Blood & Tissue Foundation Board, Ecumenical Center Foundation Board, and many others.
Lori and her husband Mark were also devout members of the First Baptist Church and their strong faith was their constant source of peace, love, strength, comfort and grace. Lori and Mark would have celebrated their 40th Wedding Anniversary this year. Their love and commitment to each other, to their family and friends, and to their community were truly inspirational. Lori will be deeply missed by all.
