Malcolm D. Orr, M.D., Ph.D. memorial

 
The Department of Anesthesiology has established a fund to honor the memory of longtime faculty member Malcolm D. Orr, M.D., Ph.D., who died Dec. 3. Dr. Orr served on the faculty of the Health Science Center for 34 years.

Dr. Orr was a great proponent of the use of technology to advance the science and practice of medicine, and proceeds from the fund will be used to purchase simulation equipment for clinical education in the Department of Anesthesiology.
