Ann Barshop Memorial

UT Health San Antonio mourns the loss of longtime supporter and friend Ann Barshop. With her husband Sam, they created a legacy of giving. Their impact will affect many future generations. 

Ann and Sam Barshop were dedicated to higher education and medical research and established the Sam and Ann Barshop Institute for Longevity and Aging Studies at UT Health San Antonio. The Barshop Institute is recognized as one of the most successful research programs in aging in the world.

All memorial contributions will be dedicated to advancing scientific discovery at the Barshop Institute for Longevity and Aging Studies, honoring the Barshop Family’s legacy and dedication to research.
