Respiratory Care Department

Patients who must fight to breathe, whether premature babies to accident victims or children with asthma to adults with pneumonia, depend on the skills of a Respiratory Therapist.  Working closely with physicians and nurses, respiratory therapists perform critical diagnostic and treatment procedures in varied settings.

The university offers a bachelor's degree program that qualifies graduates for national board exams to become certified and registerd.  This exceptional program also qualifies graduates for specialty exams including neonatal-pediatrics or registered pulmonary functions.
