Occupational Therapy Department
Occupational Therapists help people whose lives have been interrupted by accidents, illnesses, or congenital conditions resulting in developmental, physical and emotional challenges. They help people build or regain motor skills, cognitive and emotion functioning so that they may carry out daily activities wtih greater independence.
The Occupational Therapy program offers a Master degree program that qualifies graduates to become nationally certified Occupational Therapists. The program balances clinical excellence with didactic courses to prepare their graduates for professional practice.
