Frank Boggus Endowed Professorship

Welcome and thank you for your interest in supporting the Frank Boggus Endowed Professorship.

Frank Boggus is a name synonymous with generosity and community service throughout the Rio Grande Valley.  He was once quoted as saying, “I want to return something from all the blessings we have”, and he has done so for the past five decades.

Believing it time to formally recognize and honor Frank Boggus for his unwavering service and commitment to South Texas, Valley Baptist Legacy Foundation has made a leadership gift to establish an endowed professorship in his name at the Regional Academic Health Center (RAHC).

Education has been a cause dear to him, and his support has been instrumental in enhancing medical education and expanding the pool of healthcare professionals in the Rio Grande Valley - several physicians trained at the RAHC are now serving the Valley community.  The results of his support will continue to benefit the citizens of South Texas for generations to come.
